Cisma

Cisma is a Brazilian director known for his exceptional work in both live-action and animation. A Latin Grammy nominee and winner of prestigious awards like Cannes Lions, Clio, D&AD, and One Show Interactive, he began his career as a motion designer at Lobo (Vetor Zero). He later worked at MTV Brazil and joined the creative team of Diesel in Italy. In 2004, he moved to Barcelona, where he directed films that masterfully blended animation and live-action. Returning to Brazil in 2008, Cisma established himself as a leading commercial director, collaborating with production companies such as Margarida Filmes, Paranoid, Saigon, and Pródigo. Today, he is proudly represented by Vetor Zero/Lobo. Cisma has also directed high-profile series like Sintonia for Netflix and O Beijo Adolescente for HBO, alongside documentaries for ESPN and Canal Combate. In the music industry, he has worked with icons such as Milton Nascimento, Criolo, Nação Zumbi, and Gilberto Gil. Combining his expertise in actor direction, gained through his work on drama series, with a deep knowledge of post-production, Cisma creates a unique synergy with Vetor Zero. This blend of skills makes his work stand out both in storytelling and technical execution.
